Create a font of your own handwriting
Presently Font Capture is a totaly free service. It allows you to make a font of your own handwriting. You just need a printer and a scanner. No extra software needed.
First Step: print the template, where you write in the letters in your hand writing. [download the template]

Second Step: Take care of the ascenders, descenders and the baselines (basic typography terms). Some letters, such as ‘g’ or ‘q’, descend to the descender line. Uppercase letters typically have their highest point on the ascender. write in your letters. I would suggest using a pencil at first and then a black pilot pen for the final entry.
Third Step: Upload the completed font template. Scan it in grayscale 300DPI and in PNG format (better). [Upload]
