Enable Aero on Windows 7 home basic version
Windows 7 looks dull without aero effects enabled. Windows 7 home basic version has no aero effects enabled from factory. AeroEnabler is a nice small tool that enables aero effects on your home basic version. Aero effects demand some minimum display driver specifications for smooth operation. AeroEnabler can enable those effects even if the requirements are not met. It is not suggested that you enable the aero effects if you do not meet the minimum requirements.
Minimum requirements:
DirectX 9.0 acceleration
Pixel shader version 2.0 with 32 bit pixel per pixel support
128 mb graphics memory
