Speakers != Electromagnets
Author: indigoanalysis | Filed under: For You, Misc n Hobbies, Music, Tech n GizmosI bet every normal >5th grader knows the fact that knows- Sound is produced when anything vibrates. But wait….. did I say anything. Yes, not just the electromagnets in your sound boxes are the sole source of Music.
3. Look at these eye popping speakers produced by IceTech USA called IceKube IT-20. They do not contain traditional electromagnets, they produce sound by vibrating a secondary surface they are placed in contact with.

Awesome huh….check this out >
2. Warwick tech makes speakers that can be folded and are thin like papers. Due to their flat surface they produce plane wave-fronts which travel more efficiently and can be of great application. Any thing hanging on your wall like photo-frames, posters could be replaced with these. I don’t want to deeper into the working of these, better talk about the next contestant.
1. Another superb idea used to produce sound is the vibrating plasma arc speakers(youtube vid). Make yourself one through this instructable. Due to high voltage operation has some problems like heating, burning occur. So, in the tutorial he uses a big heat sink. Still, not usable for daily usage. Be careful, you could get electrocuted while making these.
laid back dude, want no trouble – A company called Acapella makes them for you. For almost the half the cash Daddy earned last year.
