The most efficient way to Download Youtube videos
Jan 20th
Any other way (in terms of system resources and time) of downloading youtube videos cannot be more efficient than just changing a letter of the URL. The following method allows you to generate direct links to download the video in flv format or iPod friendly mp4 format. To download a Youtube video follow the follow the simple instruction just once. The next time you won’t have to look at this.
Instruction:
Change the “y” of “youtube.com” in the youtube URL to “3″. Like this:
Similarly adding “kick” before youtube in the URL does the same thing. (But typing 3 more letters is comparatively less efficient). The pwn youtube method no longer works directly, but still redirects you to a useful place. Using download manager and other plugins are mathematically less efficient too (system resources). Cheers.
Firefox 3.6 Release Candidate available
Jan 6th
Everyone has started to shift to Chrome. Last few months Chrome made enormous moves on the global browser market share. It slid past Safari a few days back. Now Chrome is the number 3. With Firefox 4.0 deadlines pushed forward, I expect 3.6 to cheer us up with the speed.
I expect a new trim down version of Firefox now. I await for the final version of Firefox 3.6 to release and force me to shift back to it. Sorry, you’ll have to go on diet Firefox. Revamp the interface to really breezy and light feel on version 4.0. Cheers!

Free extended Task manager
Jan 1st
When you are fed up with the windows XP task manager. Or you can’t open it (happened to me). There is better task manager waiting to install on your computer. Free Extended task manager literally makes you throw away the default task manager on Windows XP. It is free and has much more data showing. There is no reason for you to not install it.
The real time graphs in the performance tab show the status on mouse over. Apart from the PF (memory) usage and the CPU usage history graphs, Disk I/O graph also shows up in the performance tab. Another great feature is the summary tab. This is where you get the present status of everything you need to know. In this tab you can end tasks, switch to processes, see the PF, CPU, Disk and network usage histories. One place for most important things is a great idea.
