Fast Switch between FB and FB lite

To use Facebook lite, go to http://lite.facebook.com (It is a faster, less eye candy version of the Facebook). Lite helps you if you have a low bandwidth connection. It is much less bogged up with applications. But if it seems that you are disconnected to the applications. Which might be the main reason for you to be on Facebook. It is time to switch between them fast. Go to the settings on the top (gear icon beside the logout button). Now, click on the “default site” button and tick “Let me switch between regular Facebook and Facebook Lite“. Click on save.
Now you’ll have a blue bar on top of the Facebook page that helps you to switch between Lite and Normal versions of the website on the fly.
Summary:
Make it lite : http://lite.facebook.com
1. Click Settings (gear icons on the top, beside logout button)
2. Click Default site
3. Place a tick on “Let me switch between regular Facebook and Facebook Lite”
4. Save

Facebook Crazy Taxi Hi-score Cheat

Step1: Go to [Cheatengine] and download the software “Cheat Engine 5.5“
Step2: Now load up Crazy Taxi on Firefox or Internet explorer preferably. Not Chrome because chrome’s each tab is recognized as a separate process in cheat engine and you’d have trouble finding the crazy taxi associated process.
Step3: Install Cheat Engine and run it.
Step4: On the top left corner of cheat engine search for the icon. Click on it and search for Firefox or the browser in which your game is loaded. It usually is located at the end of the big list. Click ok
Step5: Now select the Enable speed hack option at the right side of the console and drag the slider to 50 or higher. click apply.
Step6: With the fowrard arrow key held press start button in Crazy taxi, wait till you have reached a sufficiently high score. leave the forward key and press back key to stop.
Be careful, donot make wierdly high hi-scores. Mindjold might detect this as a cheat easily and ban you for ever. Wierd hi-scores are also not published sometimes. Flaunt some safe 90 thousand and shock your friends. Have fun.

Search for great wallpapers with Google

Finding great wallpapers couldn’t have been easier. Google image search is one great tool to find some awesome wallpapers for your desktop. It can be done simply by pre/post-fixing the following string after the search term. (replace the width and height with your desktop size.)

desktop size link and enter a search term in the blue-find box. Click on the Google Search button
Anime full episode – free downloads

When you are addicted to Anime and don’t live in Japan. To catch the latest, watching them online is a pain. Downloading from “watch online” websites can be easier (set it on the queue for the night and sleep). Here is how to do it easily and fast:
If you are using firefox:
1. You’ll have to install two plugins, first install download helper. This helps to detect the flash video on the page and generate a cache link to it.
2. The second plugin is optional, I prefer to install this because multiple thread downloading in our campus is very effective. Also when using this pausing the download or dealing with connection breaks isn’t a big deal. It is called downthemall. (It is “down them all” not “down the mall” 
)
3. Now go to any watch online Anime episodes like [Anime-Media], and get to work.
tip: Play the video before using the download helper to get the link, otherwise it won’t detect any flash movies on the page. Also try to copy the link fast because for some unknown problem it won’t show the link after some time.
Procedure:
When you got to the page and click on the play button, the icon on the top toolbar of firefox animates, click on the arrow beside it > go to the required video link and “copy URL“. (OR you can directly download using the integrated downloader)
Now use the URL in any download accelerator OR go to Tools > Down Them All tools > manger and click on the plus icon. now paste the link and select a download directory. Start

Google Chrome OS coming soon

The second half of 2010 is expected to see a new operating system the Chrome OS by Google. The OS boasts of a completely redesigned architecture and will work on a new window on a linux kernel. The redesigned architecture is aimed to keep the OS virus and malware free.
Another most important feature we’ll be expecting from Google is the Google speed. As the Google Blog says “Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks.”
