How to stay invisible with Gtalk desktop client
Dec 23rd
The normal Gtalk client presently does not allow you to stay invisible. To stay invisible you have to use the Gmail chat client. This might be a problem when, for some reason you cannot keep your browser open. Download the new Google talk labs edition, it is a Gtalk client by Google labs that allows you to stay invisible. It also has extra features that the normal Gtalk client doesn’t. Features like group chat, emoticons, calender and orkut notifications are a great help.
I haven’t tested it with windows 7, but its compatibility with Vista almost assures compatibility with win7.
