YouTube really changed our lives and 2009 was probably the year it was at its peak. With HD streaming videos comng in and special features like the “lights off” and the “change player size” (Buttons on the top right of the videos) it was really fun stumbling amazing user generated content, trailers, music videos and what not! Eight minutes of video getting uploaded every minute was something very huge in average numbers. Google released a list of the most watched and searched videos on YouTube

was the day many people were waiting for. Be it the Bejing Olympics 2008 or the ‘auspiciousness’ of the date. It was a big fuss, with people talking about the 8th hour 8th minute and 8th second of 08.08.2008. But did any one even think of that time is different in different parts of the world. Though I didn’t notice anything peculiar about 08.08.2008. With happy and sad moments altogether every thing was just normal.
Though normal for me, it was fun and tensed for the audience and the organisers of the Bejing Olympics 2008 respectively. The games were heavily promoted boasting about the wonderful 37 venues.They were successfully and grandly opened today by the chinese president. 
The opening ceremony lit up the Beijing national stadium(the birds nest) with brilliant fireworks and performances. Tight security was maintained, more than normal because of the terror threat video release.
New Sallu on the block

Don’t know if I am the only one who noticed there is a new sallu born in bolywood. Ok, no waiting. I am talking about RANBIR KAPOOR.
This isn’t about popularity, acting or ’10 ka dum‘. This is all about taking the shirt off or having the chest exposed. Check out the song ‘saawariya’ where he dances in a towel (irritating facial expressions), in the song ‘bachna ae haseeno’ and many other instances in the ‘bachna ae haseeno’ movie trailer/songs. Where you can see him ripping his shirt couple of times in a few minutes. It is very rare I see him with his chest covered.
Whatever, but this isn’t to offend his fans (just what I noticed). I hate even to see this guy’s face (looking better in bachna… though), may be some others love to see him like this, may be he rips his shirt to impress those noobs/babes out there.
I think the RANBIR hype isn’t just worth it, Neil Nitin mukesh is much much better actor and smart looking.
